I’m always looking for people who have something to say about public transport. If you have a story to share, want to grumble about buses and trains running late or want to find out more about my work here, do get in touch in any of these ways:

You can also find me on twitter:

@pupulchatterjee and @brumtransport

Looking forward to hearing from you!

  1. Hello,

    My name is Adam O’Carroll and I am a student at the University of Birmingham and am currently carrying out an individual research project for an MSc in Civil Engineering. This project examines how the UK might implement a similar policy to Sweden’s Vision Zero Initiative, an aspirational road safety policy that aims to reduce the number of road traffic fatalities to zero by the year 2050.

    The policy was implemented in 1997 and suggests that success is somewhat dependent on making practical alterations throughout the road traffic system. In order to gain an insight into whether or not the UK would benefit from making similar changes I am currently conducting a survey of road users in the UK. I was wondering if you would be kind enough to display the link to my survey on your website? And also hopefully participants at your organisation will be available to complete it for me. To note all opinions are completely anonymous and the survey takes less than 10 minutes, the link is posted below:

    If there is any further information you require with regards to this topic please let me know.

    Kind regards

    Adam O’Carroll
